Students of Jagran Lakecity University’s School of Media and Communication got the opportunity to visit the Tenth World Hindi Conference (@विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन) which was held in Bhopal from 10th – 12th September 2015 under the theme “हिंदी जगत- विस्तार और संभावनाए”. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the conference was held in the state after 32 years and attracted scholars, experts and students from 39 countries including India which included the students and faculty of JLU Bhopal as well. The students of SoMC undertook an assignment, which simulated how a media organization would cover and attend an International Conference. They not only rigorously covered the event, wrote and filed their reports, captured visuals through photographs but also managed to interview the Chief Minister and some other dignitaries. Here is a photographic account of the students at the conference.
