"TechWiki 1.0" was the first workshop organized under the series of TechWiki by Jagran Lakecity University's School of Engineering & Technology and was targeted towards developing a student's technical skills of C/ C++ programminglanguage keeping in mind their requirement for project development & competing in campus placements.

The objective of the workshop was to make students understand a systematic way for logical thinking and problem solving with C/C++. The workshop emphasized on educating the students about cracking the technical and written interviews for jobs related to C/C++ language. In order to make the workshop interesting, students from various colleges and universities were invited to participate in a contest wherein a particular scenario was presented to them which they had to solve using logical thinking and C/C++ programming language skills.

The two day workshop was conducted in six sessions. Dr. Rajesh Pachgade, Assistant General Manager, CRISP India was the Chief Guest of the event and also addressed the audience during the first session of the workshop. Subsequent sessions were taken by Mr. Ajit Singh and Mr. Rahul Shrivastava which was aligned towards brushing up the knowledge of the programming language.

Mr. Dileep Kumar Singh, faculty at the School of Engineering & Technology, JLU conducted a session on preparing the students for questions which are in general asked during the interviews. Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Ms. Abhilasha Singh designed the final session which was the competition divided into two parts -Objective questions and rigorous technical interview respectively.

Mr. Ankit Sharma, a student of Computer Science engineering, 6th Semester, at JLU School of Engineering & Technology took away the first prize of the contest.
