JLU Super Chef Junior 2014

Jagran Lakecity University's School of Hospitality and Tourism organised Super Chef Junior 2014; a cookery competition for school students to showcase their culinary abilities. Students from Bal Bhavan School , The Sanskaar Valley School, Theodosian Academy and others participated in the event. The event was conducted over 3 days where prelims, semi-finals and finals took place.

The students prepared a variety of mouth-watering dishes which was tasted and judged by celebrity judge and Finalist of Amul Masterchef Ms. Kandla Nijhowne, Chef A.K.Singh (HOD, IHM Bhopal), Chef P.K.Modi (IHM Bhopal) and Prof Nafees Haider Naqvi (Director- School of Hospitality & Tourism, JLU Bhopal). The valedictory was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Swarup (Vice-Chancellor, JLU Bhopal), Prof. R. Neesamoorthy (Registrar, JLU Bhopal) and was wished by Mr, Raghavendra Kumar Singh (MD, MP Tourism).

All in all, 26 teams from different schools of Bhopal participated in the event and made it a difficult task for the judges to choose the best among them. Niharika Singh & Pitambhara of The Sanskaar Valley School walked away with the Winner's trophy. First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up trophies were won by Bhakti Jain & Kritika Verma of Sanskaar Valley School and Loveleen Sammi & Somya Nigam of Theodosian Academy.
