Training and awareness programme on Intellectual Property

Our LLM students from school of law, Jagran Lakecity University attended a training and awareness programme on Intellectual Property rights conducted by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Intellectual Property India. It was organised by the controller General of Patents ,Designs and Trademarks,Dept. Of Industrial Policy and Promotion,Ministry of commerce & Industry, Government of India.

During the seminar the students were introduced to the novel concepts and the implementation part of the intellectual property regime. There were examples which were shared about how the intellectual property rights can be used and converted into entrepreneural assets. The training was focused upon how to acquire patents and other intellectual property and how to work towards developing awareness amongst fellow countrymen as to how to protect their ingenious intellectual property.
