Punjabi Week- Day 1

With banners of Punjabi culture spread across the campus, a feeling of Punjab was experienced live in the university campus. It started with Sat Sri Akal.. Gyanis from the Bhopal Gurudwara narrated the stories of the various Sikhism Gurus giving a special mention of the five Ks of Sikhs and concept of Langar. Setting a spirit of serving the mankind, Gyani Daleep Singh and his colleagues later distributed the traditional food of Punjab; Makke di Roti and Sarson da Saag topped with cubes of butter, jaggery , salad, pickle and also a packet of lassi. During the second half, a poster making competition took place where students of various schools exhibited their creative instinct and beautified the campus with colors of Punjab reflecting in their art pieces. Day 1 ended smoothly.
