Dr. Mohan Raja is a prominent academician, researcher having wide experience of teaching and research in several years. He obtained his Masters in Material Science & Technology from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. Dr. Mohan Raja completed his Doctoral Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea and He has gained postdoctoral experience from Myongji University, South Korea. He was worked as a faculty in King Saud University, KSA and He was worked as faculty member in various Universities (SRM, AMITY) in India.  He has published several numbers of research papers, book chapters in leading international journals and filed number of Indian patents in the field of nanotechnology. Also, he has presented invited lectures, special lectures in many international universities, IITs, and international conferences held in abroad as well as India.  He has completed two research  funded projects  (National– funded by DST (23 lakhs), India and International Project funded by NPST, KSA(2.60 crores)) as principal investigator in the field of smart polymers and currently he is having one ongoing research project funded by  DST , India (ECR – 28.99 lakhs) in the field of hybrid nanocomposites for supercapacitor applications. He has broad range of research interests especially for nanocomposite materials' properties and applications for electrical, structural uses, heterostructures with emphasis on understanding micro/ nano structural influences on functional properties.  Nano carbon based metal oxides energy storage devices,  electroactive shape memory polymer nanocomposites, flexible transparent electrodes for electronic devices, Smart/anti corrosion/ antifungal coatings/ materials,  polymer composite based ballistic and RAM applications
