IV National Moot Court pool Selections, 201717 Aug 2017
The Moot Court Committe at the School of Law organised the IV National Moot Court pool Selections, 2017 for the students of II,III and IV year students, to be in the pool representing SoL, JLU at various moot court competitions across the country for the academic session 2017-18. The competition started of with preliminary rounds on 17th August, 2017 with five All external judges.

In the valedictory ceremony of the 1st JLU National Moot Court Competition, Justice K.G. Balakrishnan (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Former Chairman, National Human Rights Commission), Justice Ved Prakash Sharma (Judge, M.P. High Court, Indore Bench) presented the Winner trophy and cash prize of 1.5 Lacs to the HNLU Raipur team.

(in Criminal Law) both from NLIU, Bhopal and has recently cleared the M.P. Judiciary Exam. She spoke to the students on the scope in Judiciary, the level of preparation required to clear Judicial services Exams, the exam pattern and the need of academic discipline and seriousness to clear the Exam. It was an extremely motivating interaction for the students.

Jagran Lakecity University's School of Law organised a Practice Moot Court Competition for the 1st year Under Graduate students. The moot problem was based on criminal law and the objective behind this practice was to test the research and advocacy skills of the students. Seven teams participated in the Moot and presented their case. The competition was followed by an enriching feedback session from the judges which helped the students in deeper understanding of the discussed issues.
