Jagran Lakecity University recently held the inaugural ceremony of Ph.D./M.Phil. Batch of 2016. Prof.(Dr.) Santosh Kumar, Former Vice Chancellor, Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar, M.P. was the Chief Guest of the function. He guided the scholars to focus on the importance and significance of Review of Literature in Ph.D. programme and requested them to avoid plagiarism in their research work. He discussed the qualitative and quantitative characters of research. He elaborated the Success Mantra in any field, i.e. confidence, courage; avoiding carelessness, hard work, and honesty. He further discussed the course work syllabus of Ph.D. and M.Phil. programme with the scholars. Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Swarup, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, addressed the gathering with the vision and mission of Jagran Lakecity University. He laid emphasis on the importance of research and insisted the scholars to introduce themselves and guided them on their research topics. "Research is Tapasaya. A good researcher must always be focused about the research. Research must be logistic and rational." Said Prof (Dr.) C.A.Gurudath, Vice-Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University. Soon after the inaugural ceremony, an exclusive session on Research Methodology was taken by Dr. Bir Pal Singh, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), National Law Institute University, Bhopal. He discussed the meaning, characteristics and types of research. He guided the scholars on data-collection and the need of research in contemporary times.
