National Wine Workshop23 Feb 2017
Jagran Lakecity University's School of Hospitality & Tourism recently conducted a "National Wine Workshop" at the Student Enrichment Hub. Mr. Gurjit Singh Barry, WSET, level 4 Sommelier was the resource person for the workshop. Mr. Barry started the session by educating the audience about the basics of Viticulture, characteristics of Grapes, different styles of wine etc.
Foodippa - Pind Da Swad16 Nov 2016
Jagran Lakecity University's School of Hospitality & Tourism organized a Punjabi Food Festival "Foodippa - Pind Da Swad" on 16th November 2016. The venue was decorated to the theme of a village in Punjab. The faculty and students of the School were all dressed up in traditional Punjabi attire and welcomed guests with Punjabi warmth.

The School of Management at Jagran Lakecity Universityconducted an MDP on "Team Building and Stress Management" at Hotel Sayaji Bhopal. Mrs. Archana Tiwari, Assistant Professor, School of Management guided the MBA-HR students on organizing training sessions in organizations. The students prepared a training module for support staff in Hospitality sector.

Industrial Visit to Noor-Us-Sabah Palace2 April 2015
Students of Jagran Lakecity University's School of Hospitality & Tourism went to an industrial visit to Noor-Us-Sabah Palace Hotel.The students explored different areas of the hotel: Spa, Jacuzzi, Bakery, Entire Food Production area, Butchery, Floors, Standard Room, Front Office and Lobby Area.
NESTLE YOUNG CHEF CONTEST 201519 March 2015
Students from the hospitality school of Jagran Lakecity University scaled another height when they competed with the best teams of Madhya Pradesh in the "Nestle Young Chef Contest 2015" at IHM Bhopal.The presentation and innovation of our students was praised by all and the team backed the 2nd & the 5th positions in the competition.

Jagran Lakecity University's School of Hospitality and Tourism invited Mr. Amit Kumar Singh, General Manager, Noor-Us-Sabah Palace, Bhopal to deliver the lecture on "Industry Demands from Budding Hoteliers" under the Igniting Minds Lecture Series. Mr. Singh who has been a part of the hospitality industry for the past 17 years told the students about requisites of getting into the hospitality industry and becoming a good hotelier.
