Mr. Ankit Singh, Assistant Professor and Ms. Pooja Kiyawat, Lecturer, jointly presented a paper titled "Rights of Broadcasters and TRAI: A Critical Analysis in Light of the New Draft Tariff Order Released by TRAI" at a two-day National Conference on 'Copyright and Technology' organized by National Law University, Jodhpur in collaboration with Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) on 8th and 9th April, 2017. The panel discussions of the conference covered a wide array of topics and were headed by renowned legal luminaries of the country.

Dr. Shobha Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, was invited as a subject expert to a television program hosted by Doordarshan (Madhya Pradesh). The theme of the program was 'Plea Bargaining'.The program was televised Live! on Tuesday at 4:30 P.M. The pictures are from the repeat telecast of the show. Dr. Bhardwaj has always been a constant source of inspiration for all of us. The entire SoL team congratulates her and wishes her well in all her future academic undertakings.

Mr. Abhishek Kumar Jain, Assistant Professor, presented a research paper titled "The journey of Indian Entrepreneurs through invention to innovation - Investigating Potentiality of Muddling through for Indian Startups" at a National Conference on Contemporary Issues in Management and Entrepreneurship organized by CII and Auro University, Surat on March 4, 2016. It is also noteworthy that the same paper got published with Mr. Malay R. Patel as co-author in the Conference Proceedings (ISBN-978-81-928189-8-6).

Mr. Deevanshu Shrivastava, Assistant Professor, School of Law Attended the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Law Conference held during 20-21 October 2016 organised by Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. Over there, he presented a paper on 'Right to Employment of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS in India'. His paper was selected to be published as a chapter in the book titled "Interdisciplinary Integration for Legal Enrichment".
Ms. Apoorva Dixit, Lecturer, School of Law attended the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Law Conference held during 20-21 October 2016 organised by Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. In the same conference, she had presented the paper on 'Role of Party Autonomy in International Commercial Arbitration'. After the successful presentation, the paper was selected to be published as a chapter in the book titled 'Interdisciplinary Integration for Legal Enrichment'.

Dr. Shobha Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, School of Law presented a research paper titled 'Plea Bargaining: An Instrument to Reform Criminal Justice System of India & Accountability of Stakeholders in its Implementation'. The paper was presented in an International Conference in Transparency & Accountability in Justice Administration System: Challenges and Solutions, jointly organized by the Centre for Transparency and Accountability in Governance (CTAG), National Law University, Delhi, India and Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI). The event was held on 24th and 25th September 2016.

Ms.Pooja Kiyawat, Lecturer, School of Law attended a workshop conducted by IBA-Chair on Continuing Legal Education and Advanced Centre for Research, Development and Training in Cyber Law and Forensics, National Law School of India University, Bangalore in association with MK Nambyar Academy For Continuing Legal Education, Kochi on "Professional Development Training for Criminal Justice Practitioners on Cyber Law, Cyber Crimes, Cyber Forensics and The Justice System" from 19th August, 2016 to 21st August 2016.
