Abhishek Kumar Jain

Mr. Abhishek Kumar Jain, Assistant Professor, presented a research paper titled "The journey of Indian Entrepreneurs through invention to innovation - Investigating Potentiality of Muddling through for Indian Startups" at a National Conference on Contemporary Issues in Management and Entrepreneurship organized by CII and Auro University, Surat on March 4, 2016. It is also noteworthy that the same paper got published with Mr. Malay R. Patel as co-author in the Conference Proceedings (ISBN-978-81-928189-8-6).

Dr.Vivek Khare

Dean, Student Welfare and Professor, Director, School of Banking & Finance and School of Commerce & Economics. He has been appointed as the Country Chapter committee chairs of the AUAP (CCC) for the next two year. Starting from November 18, 2016 to November 2018, he will assist AUAP in making relevant and effective decisions for the benefit of the students.

Dr. Shobha Bhardwaj

Dr. Shobha Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, School of Law presented a research paper titled 'Plea Bargaining: An Instrument to Reform Criminal Justice System of India & Accountability of Stakeholders in its Implementation'. The paper was presented in an International Conference in Transparency & Accountability in Justice Administration System: Challenges and Solutions, jointly organized by the Centre for Transparency and Accountability in Governance (CTAG), National Law University, Delhi, India and Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI). The event was held on 24th and 25th September 2016.

Ankit Singh

Mr. Ankit Singh, Assistant Professor, School of Law contributed an article to the prestigious Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow, U.P. (RMLNLU) Journal (Volume 7, Peer Reviewed) published by Eastern Book Company. The title of the article is "Revisiting the Law of Sedition in India: A Critical Analysis in the Light of the JNU Fiasco".

Ms. Apoorva Dixit, Lecturer, School of Law was selected to participate in the Winter School event the topic for which was 'International Dispute Settlement'. The event was organized by The Network for International Law Students (NILS), which is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit-making organization, run by and for law students & professionals. The NILS Network includes member law students and young lawyers from across fourteen countries - Bangladesh, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, India, Ireland, Kenya, Malta, Montenegro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and the United Kingdom.

Ms.Pooja Kiyawat, Lecturer, School of Law attended a workshop conducted by IBA-Chair on Continuing Legal Education and Advanced Centre for Research, Development and Training in Cyber Law and Forensics, National Law School of India University, Bangalore in association with MK Nambyar Academy For Continuing Legal Education, Kochi on "Professional Development Training for Criminal Justice Practitioners on Cyber Law, Cyber Crimes, Cyber Forensics and The Justice System" from 19th August, 2016 to 21st August 2016.
