The course explores the role of money in markets and financial institutions based on the regulations laid by RBI, SEBI and Ministry of Finance. Students learn the functions of money as a medium of exchange while examining money supply and the role of banks. Keeping in view job prospects in banking & financial sector, the objective of the course is to give in-depth knowledge of Banking & Finance to the students of commerce, with practical inputs and prepare them for future Banking.

Eligibility Criteria: Admission to an undergraduate degree at School of Commerce and Economics, JLU Bhopal requires a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) qualification with a minimum of 50% or an equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognised school under ICSE, CBSE, IB or State Board. Candidates appearing for their HSC examination (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply for admission. Their admission will be subject to their qualifying the exam with the required marks. The selection of candidates will be made based on their academic merit and performance in the PI round.
