Class Description

BA Psychology (Hons) programme offers learners the opportunity to explore concepts, and theories connected to human behaviour and mental functions. The programme aims at developing an understanding of new frontiers in the discipline of Psychology. It places a strong emphasis on promoting the analytical skills of the learners in the domain of Psychology and has been designed with a deliberate focus on the dynamic needs of the contemporary world.  A practical component is embedded in the syllabus of all core papers. The goal is also to break the artificial barriers created by compartmentalizing theory and practical section.

 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the three-year education, learners will be able to

  • inculcate in learners a holistic vision of life and living
  • understand the basic concepts connected to the discipline of Psychology
  • develop skills of observation, objective interpretation of data and reporting of the same
  • apply the concepts learnt to appreciate human behaviour from a scientific perspective
