Colors of India: Unity in Diversity

Jagran Lakecity University in association with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya and Ministry of Culture, Government of India organized an event "Colors of India : Unity in Diversity" under Social Incubator an initiative taken by School of Humanities & Arts at JLU Bhopal. India has diversified culture and this event beautifully portrayed various dances like Dhon Dholok Cholom, Kabui, and Thangta of Manipur, Bihu, Goalparia( Kamal Sundari) and Bhortal of Assam, Ghantu and Sarothi of Sikkim that are famous in North-eastern states of India. About 60 artists from North-eastern states performed and gave us an insight about their culture, customs and traditions.
