Course Objectives:

To develop intellectual rigor as well as more general transferable intellectual skills which are of value in the practice of Law and a wide range of careers. The objective of the curriculum is to provide an integrated knowledge of law and accounting, managerial economics, statistics.

About the course:

The coursework combines a degree of sophistication in terms of legal content and upgrades student’s commercial and regulatory skills. The students get more exposure and opportunities as compared to a commerce graduate. The course enhances the practical knowledge of the students as well by providing a strong theoretical framework.

Career Path:

One can choose from various options such as practice, judicial services, law firms, consultancy services, etc. In addition, a B.Com.,LL.B. graduate has opportunities in taxation, company secretary, etc.

Eligibility Criteria: Admission to a 5 year integrated undergraduate degree at School of Law; JLU Bhopal requires a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) qualification with a minimum of 50% or an equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized school under ICSE, CBSE, IB or any of the State Boards. Admission will be on the basis of CLAT/LSAT score card and a Personal Interview. For students who have not appeared for the CLAT/LSAT examination, a separate University entrance exam shall be conducted. Students will be required to either clear the CLAT/LSAT exam or the University entrance exam followed by a Personal Interview round. However, a separate University form will have to be submitted.
